Capi Soda supports The Spirit of the Black Dress 2012

Capi Soda

The CAPI brand was born from a simple idea to produce Pure, Clean, Refreshing carbonated drinks. Taking on the sourcing and blending responsibilities ourselves we have secured the finest natural extracts and botanicals worldwide to ensure our promise of authenticity.

The Democratic Republic of Congo and the Matanzas province of Cuba are just two of many places our botanicals; natural extracts, cold pressed essential oil and citrus juices are secured for blending. Origins, latitude belts and varying climatic conditions are all key factors in seeking out quality ingredients, integral to the finished products. A closer look at the CAPI products will reveal the development story behind each of the botanicals & extracts used such as cinchona, the only natural quinine.

Pure Clean Refreshment is a commitment to delivering a profile that is true to the botanicals & extracts themselves. This commitment extends to manufacturing and blending practices that are free of preservatives, synthetic ingredients, GMO, artificial ingredients, artificial sweeteners, or any other chemical ingredients used in other carbonated drinks.

100% Australian owned and bottling mineral water direct from the spring we are proud to be pioneering Pure Clean Refreshment. In the possible event that this way of refreshment may be similar to your thinking it would be great to hear from you. In the meantime have a drink on us.

Estelle Deve supports The Spirit of the Black Dress in 2012

Posted on February 8, 2012

French-born designer Estelle Dévé is quickly becoming one of Australia’s best and brightest jewellery talents. Since her debut collection, the designer has included an impressive profile of editorial support to a growing list of national and international stockists.

Now calling Australia home, Estelle’s work is regularly featured in some of the country’s more forward-thinking fashion magazines, Russh, Fallen and Oyster have been quick to notice her artisanal approach, while Florence Welsh and Susie Bubble, some of fashions’most progressive public figures, are also staunch supporters of her designs.

From delicate, pewter-cast chains of gold to statement pieces of leather and resin, Estelle’s vision is both innovative and in interesting. Her work a reflection of personality and circumstance. Though completely self-taught when it comes to design, Estelle is following a familar pattern of purpose. Both her father and aunt were at some point jewellery designers; the latter working as a fine jewellery to fashion house, Chanel, under the authority of Mr. Lagerfeld himself. If you would like to arrange an appointment to view Estelle’s collection for editorial use, to receive hi-res images and further information, or to request a lookbook or interview,

Yarrabank sponsors The Spirit of the Black Dress in 2012.

Posted on December 4, 2011

Yarrabank was first created in 1993, from the vision of Champagne Devaux
president, Laurent Gillet to produce a benchmark Australian sparkling wine. Since
1996 it has been produced by an ongoing joint venture between Devaux and Yering
Station.

The signature elegance and restraint of Yarrabank is ensured each vintage as the
stringent Methode Champenoise is followed, using only exceptional parcels of fruit.

The pinot noir and chardonnay grapes are handpicked in small baskets to protect the
berries, then pressed in different batches where only the cuvee (the first 512.5 litres
per tonne of fruit) is kept. To keep the natural freshness of the fruit, the base wine
does not undergo malo-lactic fermentation.

Winemakers from Champagne Devaux visit Yering Station each year to assist in the
final assemblage. Yarrabank is aged for a minimum of three years on lees.

Having consistently received accolades since the first vintage, Yarrabank is
deservedly considered one of Australia’s most exceptional sparkling wines.

Hawthorn Brewing Company

Posted on November 14, 2011

Hawthorn Brewing Company commenced 3 years ago to provide world class Australian Craft Beers that are influenced by the best the world has to offer.  Having lived abroad for many years, the boys at Hawthorn Brewing tasted first hand the myriad of excellent brews available and the diversity that exists throughout the world. As our branding explains…

In the days of old, travelling merchants criss-crossed the globe journeying to exotic lands in search of the finest treasures. Following in this bold tradition are the Flavour Merchants of the Hawthorn Brewing Company.  From their base in Hawthorn, these intrepid explorers scour the beer world, risking life and limb to bring home the world’s best brewing techniques.  It is by trialing and researching these techniques that we are able to produce beers of such distinction.  Like our award winning Pale Ale, Amber Ale, Pilsner and Witbier. Yes it’s a tough job, but somebody has to do it.

Energy is now a matter of taste

Posted on November 7, 2011

28Black and 28White are brand new, all natural energy drinks based on the great tasting Brazilian acai berry.  So if taste is important to you and you like your drinks premium, these are for you.

Unlike common energy drinks, 28Black and 28White contain no taurine, no artificial flavours, colours or preservatives and no synthetic additives.  But that’s not all.  28Black also contains the natural, slow-release sugar isomaltulose for a long-lasting effect.  While 28White, 28Black’s only natural alternative contains the 100% natural sweetener, stevia for only 6 calories per can.

With a minimum of 28 acai berries per litre your next energy drink will not only contain fruit higher in antioxidants than any other fruit in the world, but it will be natural, fruity and refreshing.  A fruity taste that’s perfect on its own or when mixed with almost any spirit for a great tasting, natural cocktail.

So whichever drink you chose, energy is now a matter of taste. Enjoy.

Nikki Clark will be taking social shots at our opening gala. She started a love affair with the camera at age of eight, driven by the life and language it allows her to communicate.

She studied BDes-Photography (NZ) and in 2001 opened a small gallery, ‘Peep’, providing young photographers and artists a platform to express themselves. In 2004-2005 she managed ‘Collect’ and ‘Young Blood’, projects with a similar goal of profiling emerging artists and fashion designers. In 2006 she moved to Melbourne and strengthened her promotional and marketing experience. At a boutique PR Company, Spice and Soul, she recently worked on the execution of new labels, a start up company and interior photography for clients. A message from Hoegaarden -far and away our favourite beer

Posted on February 6, 2010

Hoegaarden Wit Bier is thrilled to announce its support of the Sprit of the Black Dress. Belgian’s fine-crafted beer has a wide following in Australia equally among women and men. Brewed for centuries in the township of Hoegaarden, the beer is a unique white brew crafted with orange peel and coriander seed. It’s fitting that artisan-beer Hoegaarden partner with an exciting event that is The Spirit of the Black Dress.
